Steve is an Oklahoma licensed spin cast and fly rod trout guide, with over 20 years experience. Steve is married to his wife, Paula, and they have 8 children and 3 grandsons! He offers you a memorable, professional, and informative river experience while visiting this scenic area. Steve fishes the Lower Mountain Fork River trout stream located below Broken Bow Lake. The river runs through the beautiful Beavers Bend State Park. He guides all year, rain or shine. You may keep your fish and Steve will clean and fillet them for you!
As a lifelong native to the area, Steve is very passionate about fishing in Southeast Oklahoma. Using his knowledge and experience, Steve knows where and how to catch trout in any season; in fact, he did hold the local record for a rainbow trout caught in March 2012. This beauty weighed in at 6 lbs 12 oz, and had a length of 23.5". On January 20th, 2015, Steve broke his own record by landing another beauty using his fly rod. This record breaker weighed in at 8 lbs 2oz, with a length of 25".
**TRIP RATES**
Spin Cast
1/2 Day (4 hours) ~ 1 person is $160, each additional person up to 6 is $60 per head.
Full Day (6 hours) ~ 1 person is $275, each additional person up to 6 is $75 per head.
For groups larger than 6, an additional guide will need to be hired.
All tackle, rods and reels are provided.
Fly Fishing
1/2 Day (4 hours) ~ 1 person is $160, each additional person up to 4 is $60 per head.
Full Day (6 hours) ~ 1 person is $275, each additional person up to 4 is $75 per head.
For groups larger than 4, an additional guide will need to be hired.
All tackle, fly rods, and equipment are provided.
Rainbow Trout Package
This trip includes 4 hours of fishing for Rainbow Trout:
2 hours of spincasting and 2 hours of fly fishing.

Red Zone Special
This trip includes 6 hours of fishing:
3 hours of spincasting and 3 hours of fly fishing.
1-2 people ~ $400
3-4 people ~ $500
All tackle and equipment are provided.
Kayak Fishing
This trip includes 4 hours of trout fishing from a kayak. These trips run from March - October. The age requirement is 16 years and older. All kayak fishing is done inside Beavers Bend State Park in Zone 1 and is catch and release only.
1 person ~ $350
2 people ~ $450
Max of 2 people per trip.
All tackle, equipment, kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are supplied. Life jackets must be worn at all times.
